11.26.05 - NRHA Futurity & Adequan® North American Affiliate Championship Show Hosts Clinton Anderson Clinic

The Clinton Anderson Clinic, with a guest appearance by six-time NRHA Futurity Champion Bob Loomis, will take place on Saturday, December 3, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm during the 2005 NRHA Futurity & Adequan® North American Affiliate Championship Show at the Oklahoma State Fair Park in Oklahoma City.

For the past three years, The Clinton Anderson Downunder Horsemanship Clinic has been a highlight of the ten-day schedule of high dollar competition and activities presented by the National Reining Horse Association – and for good reason. World-renowned trainer, clinician and host of RFD TV’s “Downunder Horsemanship,” Clinton Anderson provides a phenomenal training clinic that offers insight as well as practical training techniques for everyone – from the most experienced professional to the Rookie rider.

Anderson is indeed an ambassador for the sport of Reining and the NRHA. “There are a lot of people out there who still don’t know about Reining: the thrill, the speed, the fantastic communication between horse and rider, the camaraderie between competitors and the great organization. I’d like to help them learn about it and bring new blood into the reining horse industry,” says Anderson.

You won’t want to miss this clinic. It clearly demonstrates Anderson’s trademark “Aussie” style and finesse as he shows you his training techniques. And this year, you will have the added pleasure of seeing how NRHA Hall of Fame member and multiple NRHA Futurity Champion, Bob Loomis, demonstrates the maneuvers required of a reining horse.

As in years past, all proceeds from the Clinton Anderson Clinic benefit the National Reining Horse Association. With your $25 ticket to the clinic, you will also get free admission to all performances scheduled for December 3, including the NRHA Futurity Open Division Finals slated for Saturday evening. Since this is the 40th Anniversary of NRHA’s premier event for three-year-old reining horses, the evening’s entertainment – as well as the competition – will be spectacular. Youth who show their NRHA membership card or wear clothing showing their affiliation to a youth organization, get in free to the Clinton Anderson Clinic.

For more information or to order tickets, call the NRHA office at 405-946-7400 or log on to the NRHA website: www.nrha.com.
