Heralded as an elegant evening of dining and dancing, the Denim & Diamonds Gala is a tribute to forty years of the National Reining Horse Association Futurity. The black-tie event, set for Friday, December 2, will be held in the new Hall of Champions, located on Gordon Cooper Boulevard, adjacent to the Oklahoma State Fair Coliseum.
Designed by Brent Patterson of Dolly Levi’s, one of the most sought-after event planning groups in Oklahoma, the Denim & Diamonds Gala will feature a fabulous synchronized-service steak dinner. Renowned trumpet soloist David Hooten, who has performed for the Pope in Rome and been a guest in the White House, will provide entertainment. Dancing to his wonderful band in a truly majestic setting will highlight this evening of fun and entertainment.
Following dinner, Gala guests will have the opportunity to acquire unique and sentimental memorabilia during the live and silent auctions. The encore event will be a champagne and dessert extravaganza!
The Gala will benefit the Reining Horse Sports Foundation, the non-profit organization dedicated to developing and enhancing the sport of Reining worldwide.
“This will be a night to remember for everyone involved,” said Frank Costantini, President of the RHSF. “Incredible food will be served. The entertainment is first-class. The setting is magnificent. Every detail has been considered.”
He continued. “Many of us remember the very first Futurity, and to look back four decades later is a milestone worthy of the spectacular event that we have planned.”
