Jango Salgado of Porto Algre, Brazil, will be joining the world’s best reiners in Manerbio, Italy, for the 2005 FEI World Reining Masters Series finals presented by the Arcese Group and the Italian Equestrian Sports Federation (FISE). Jango, who last year won the silver medal in the Restricted Division of the very first edition of the elite competition riding Christina Knox’s Commandalena, will be riding his horse, Gizmo Whiz. A professional since 1988, Salgado was instrumental in the formation of the Brazilian Reining Horse Association (ANCR) . He took part in the International Reining Council World Cup competition in ’94 and ’95 and also has the ANCR Futurity, Derby and Superstakes and multiple ANCR National Open, as well as AQHA/ABQM National and Congress titles to his name
