06.13.05 - Platinum Performance has become one of the newest corporate partner’s for the National Reining Horse Association and is “The Official Equine Oral Joint Supplement of the NRHA.”

“Platinum Performance is proud to be the Official Equine Oral Joint Supplement of the NRHA,” said Gretchen Lund, Platinum Performance equine partnerships director. “Platinum Performance benefits every horse at the cellular level and addresses the horse as a whole.”

The joint supplement is called Ortho-chon and is a potent joint protective and pain management formula created to help promote strong joints in equine. Its primary function is to cushion and lubricate joints and is designed to intervene and prevent the overuse of joint trauma.

“Our primary goal is to improve the quality of each and every horse, one cell at a time,” said Lund.

Ortho-chon components work to not only prevent joint cartilage degradation, but also aid in repairing existing joint damage.

“Platinum Performance has quality people and quality product,” said Bill Bradley, 2005 NRHA President. “They have a great commitment to the NRHA.”

Platinum Performance, founded by Dr. Doug Herthel, is a family-owned and operated company located in Buellton, California. Herthel uses more than 30 years of experience to ensure premium products. Platinum Performance is committed to providing equine and humans with the highest level of quality and most effective, interventional products possible.

“The NRHA is very selective about their corporate partners,” said Bradley. “The NRHA wants to establish relationships with corporate sponsors to benefit the sponsor as well as the NRHA.”

Ortho-chon proves to be a quality product of Platinum Performance by containing anti-inflammatory and pain relieving ingredients that protect cartilage from being damaged. Its formula is designed to provide the protection needed to reduce the pain associated with joint disease.

“We are very impressed with the leadership, quality of horses, and the high caliber of the NRHA,” said Lund. “We are very excited and thrilled to see what kind of relationships we can form over the next five years.”
