The second Italian qualifier, a Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI) CRI - B for the FEI World Reining Masters Finals, will be held on Sunday, July 31, during the 2004 Italian Reining Horse Association Maturity at ‘La Peschiera’ in Caluso, Italy.
Leading the current rankings is Marco Ricotta followed by Dario Carmignani and in third place is Aldo Lorenzoni. The second qualifier will determine who is to represent Italy at the FEI World Reining Masters Finals, which will be held in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, during the 2004 NRHA Futurity & Championship Show on Thursday, December 2, at 7.30 p.m., a prime time performance hour.
To date, 15 countries have planned to organize one or more qualifying CRI event, and teams that made the finals at the 2002 World Equestrian Games (WEG) in Jerez, Spain, may submit two entries. All other countries may submit one. At the FEI World Reining Masters Finals, contestants do not need to compete on horses with which they qualified and no ownership restrictions will apply.
The FEI World Reining Masters Series was organized for the first time this year. The presenting sponsor behind this remarkable reining project is NetJets, the world’s leading provider of fractional aircraft ownership. NetJets fractional aircraft ownership allows individuals and companies to buy part of a private jet at a fraction of the cost of whole aircraft ownership, and guarantees availability seven days a week, 365 days a year. In 2003, the NetJets Europe Fleet and the NetJets US Fleet together flew more than 250,000 flights to more than 145 countries.
The FEI World Reining Masters Final is sponsored by Classic S Ranch, the NRHA, the Reining Horse Sports Foundation (RHSF), and the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA).
NRHA is proud to host the first-ever $100,000 FEI World Reining Masters Finals. The world’s best reiners will meet in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to represent their countries in this historic and much anticipated International event.
