On July 11th, Sweden held its second qualifying CRI competition for the $ 100,000 FEI (Federation Equestre Internationale) World Reining Masters Finals. Among 13 competitors, Fredrik Thomsson not only won this event riding CC Top Whiz with a score of 140, but also placed second, third, and fourth with his other three horses. Altogether Thomsson won 3300, kr prize money which put him unofficially in first place in Sweden in the current standings of the FEI World Reining Masters Series - an event which is to take place during the NRHA Futurity & Championship Show in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on December 2, 2004.  Rick Lemay, who did not show in Falsterbo, led previously with 1570, kr and is now ranked second. Waldemar Wass and Peter Ljungberg, are third (1256, kr) and fourth (314, kr) respectively. . Since the last Swedish CRI will be held in October, the final placings will not be possible until then.
